My agent gets furious when I say this, but, with work, I’ve always stepped over. I was a chorus girl, then I was an individual dancer, then I stepped over from being a dancer into sitcom. I hadn’t had any acting training, so I was very aware of that, and now I just think, ‘Oh, I hope I can be good enough.‘
FYI, there is someone tracking the ‘sherlock’ and 'holmes’ tags (perhaps more tags are affected, but these are the ones that we are aware of). That someone targets people who create new posts in these tags - be it text posts, gifsets or edits - and use this copypasta template in order to send anonymous hate and unsolicited accusations to the content creators (either that, or all of us hacked their computer, Microsoft word and private Tumblr in unison and stole all of their private work without crediting it. Also, let’s pretend that the incorrect quote used in this case is not a public joke and that none of the sources have been stated :D).

These are only a few examples of creators that have been inappropriately targeted and accused by this person / or a group of people that have obviously too much time on their hands.
If you do get a message similar to these, save your energy. Do not try to engage in a conversation with a bully - be kind to yourself, you deserve it! Ignore this kind of message altogether (you can also report it if you feel like it), but do not let it discourage you from doing the amazing and original work that you are doing. You are awesome and the fandom loves you!
